Each school or daycare has its own policies regarding outside providers, so permission requirements and availability for on-site therapy will vary.
If you are interested in school-based therapy, I will contact your child’s school or daycare and work with them to determine whether on-site speech therapy is permitted. If approved, I will coordinate directly with the school to determine an appropriate time and location based on their schedule and policies. Therapy is provided on campus, during the school day, in a private or designated space when available.
If your child’s school or daycare does not allow outside providers to provide therapy on-site, in-home therapy may be a convenient alternative, with sessions provided after school or at another mutually agreed-upon time.
Bridgeway Speech offers on-site speech therapy throughout Hampstead, Rocky Point, Scotts Hill, Burgaw, and St. Helena at the standard rates listed on the Services page. These communities make up my primary on-site service area.
I may also be able to provide on-site therapy in other areas of Pender County, including Surf City, Maple Hill, Currie, and Willard, depending on location, scheduling, and travel distance. An additional travel fee may apply to locations outside of my standard service area.
Because service availability depends on your specific location, please contact me to see whether your home or child’s school is within my on-site service area. Teletherapy is also available if on-site services are not a good fit for your location.
